Cane River Pecan Company

Project Description:

The renovation of the mid-century department store building into a mixed-use facility for Cane River Pecan Company marks a harmonious blend of heritage preservation and modern functionality. Supporting the company's corporate offices, product processing facilities, visitor center, store, and café restaurant, the building breathes new life into its historic framework. Leveraging state and federal historic tax credits, the exterior retains its original charm, with reintroduced display windows showcasing the building's storied past. Inside, an industrial chic aesthetic emerges, where rustic and modern elements seamlessly intertwine, creating a captivating environment reflective of the company's ethos and the building's rich history.
