The DeRouen & Wattigny Law Office is located in Downtown New Iberia’s award-winning Main Street. The building, dating back to the late 1800s, was in disrepair at the time of construction and renovated into a professional law office and restore the front façade back to the original historical design. With the help of the state’s Main Street Façade Grant, the cast iron elements on the façade were highlighted, the tall glass windows were restored, the building was structurally stabilized and made code compliant, and the stucco was repaired and repainted.
